Today marks the first morning commute for Maryland and Virginia drivers who travel along US 301 and cross the Potomac River on the new Nice-Middleton Bridge. The Eagle and crew passed under the Gov. Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge on the Potomac River this morning. The tides were just right for the passage north and will arrive in Quantico, Virginia, today.
